Robert Tait is a senior sales and operations leader with over 30 years of experience in manufacturing and distribution. Based in Overland Park, Kansas, he is the President of Tait Sales & Consulting LLC (TSC), a family-owned and operated venture he founded in 2019. TSC was founded to provide diamond tooling, material handling, and all related consumables to the natural stone industry. The industries have now expanded to include, construction, glass, tile, masonry, hardscape and concrete industries.

A recognized authority in the stone industry, Tait’s career is defined by deep expertise in diamond tool manufacturing and global distribution.

  • Distribution & Sales Leadership: He spent 17 years at the world's largest tooling distributor for the natural stone industry. At GranQuartz, he served as Regional Sales Manager, overseeing $40 million in sales across 17 states, and previously as Territory Sales Manager, where he grew a regional territory from $220,000 to over $4 million annually.

  • Manufacturing Experience: He has 13 years of experience with diamond tool manufacturers, including roles at Husqvarna and Diamant Boart formerly known as Target and Robert G. Evans Co. His diverse background includes international sales, product management, and customer service.

  • International Market Expansion: He has a history of managing foreign sales agents and initiating joint ventures in markets such as Japan, Taiwan, and Singapore.
