Refund policy

To start a return, you can contact us at info@taitsales.com within 30 days of the purchase date. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without approval may be rejected.  A 15% to 25% restock fee may apply to some returns. The restock fee may be higher for any items purchased over 30 days prior. 

To be eligible for a credit, your item must be returned in “like new” condition, and in its original packaging. Used items will not be credited. If shipping the product back, it must be packaged in a protective box (no envelopes) in order to prevent damage so that it can be resold as new. Please include the original invoice in the package.  If the product arrives damaged, appropriate fees may apply. Take several different pictures of the item and how it is packaged, both inside and outside of the box, prior to sending.  If the product is damaged in route to us, you may have to file a claim with the carrier.

Damaged items

Please inspect your order upon receipt.  If the order is visibly damaged inspect it prior to signing for the delivery. Refuse the shipment and contact us immediately. If the item is found defective, damaged after receipt, or you receive the wrong item, contact us so that we can evaluate and help resolve the issue.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Machines and electric hand tools - Please refer the manufacturer's return policy.  All warranty issues are handled by the manufacturer directly.  No returns are given on these items.

Gift Cards are electronic (emailed) and non-refundable once purchased.

Items considered special order or non-stocking items are not returnable.

Exchanges

It is best to get an approval for a return in writing, prior to ordering the replacement. Once the return is approved, make a separate purchase for the new item. Items will not be credited until they are received back at TSC.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method, minus 3% CC fee and applicable restock fee. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. We can alternatively offer you 100% credit toward a future purchase on our website.
