500 x 300 Foam Seals

AVLP-Foam Ring Replacement 500x300 for New Generation Aluminum Vacuum Pads.  These replacement foam seals will work for any Aardwolf vacuum lifter pad that measures 500mm x 300mm (19.7" x 11.8") and has the rounded corners.  This would include these models:

  • AVLP1
  • AVLP2
  • AVLP3
  • AVLP4
  • AVLM2
  • ABHVL-380
  • AHVL500
  • AVBL380

These newer pads were introduced in late 2023.  If your lifter is older and you require the rectangluar rubber vacuum pads, they can be found here. Foam rings come in two thicknesses, thin foam seal and thick foam seal.

Thin foam seal is for general purpose lifting of smoother materials such as metal, aluminum, non-porous wood, glass, porcelain, polished stone and quartz surfaces.  This is also the proper seal for moderately rough surfaces such as honed, leather and antique brush surfaces.

Thick foam seal (not pictured here) is for rough surfaces commonly found in the landscaping and construction industries. This would be rougher surfaces where the material is not smooth. The thicker pad will conform to surfaces with up to a 6mm variation.  This may include architectural stones such as blocks made from limestone, concrete or other materials with a rougher surface.  

The foam seals are easily replaced and can be done manually. The replacement seals are inserted into the rim, and no additional tools are required for smaller pads. However, extra support in the form of double-sided masking tape is recommended for larger pads. Four small tabs of double-sided masking tape, placed at the center of each side,
provide ample support. Please watch the video for replacement instructions.

Please note: Excessive use of double-sided tape can impede future seal replacement efforts, making the process more time-consuming and challenging.
