The Standard Blade can be used for most materials including Granite, Quartz, Porcelain, Dekton and Quartzite. It is the best choice for cutting these materials with saws that are considered low-horsepower or under 20hp. For Cutting Quartzite on a higher horsepower saw, please use the Xtrem blade.

The Slim Blade is best used for cutting Porcelain, Ceramics and Dekton. Saws need to be at least 20HP+.  It provides an exceptionally clean cut with no chipping on the top or bottom edges.

Important Tips for the best performance:

1. Please make sure that you have excellent water flow.  Ensure the water tubes are pointed where the blade meets the stone. Flushing the slurry from the cut is important for longer life.
2. Open/break-in the blade when it is new.  Make a cut at a feed rate of 30 to 40" per minute for about 10' to expose more diamonds on the segments.
